New students who wish to apply should use the procedures outlined below.
Submit a completed application form, including:
a. $10 application fee
b. recent photograph
c. three completed recommendation forms
When a written acceptance letter is received from the Academy, submit the following:
a. completed Medical Evaluation Record, including immunization dates
b. birth certificate
c. record of credits and transcript from last school attended and/or eighth grade certificate of completion
d. arrangements for the student's account to be paid or arranged for by registration day

NON-DISCRIMINATORY POLICY
Dakota Adventist Academy admits students of any race to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at Dakota Adventist Academy. The Academy does not discriminate in the administration of its educational and admissions policies, scholarship programs, or athletic and other school administered programs.
ADMISSION POLICY
Students in grades nine through twelve who express and demonstrate a definite interest in receiving a Christian education are eligible for admission. No religious test is applied; however, only students who show due respect for the Word of God, maintain a positive and reverent attitude toward that which is spiritual, and conduct themselves in harmony with the principles and standards of Christian education as upheld by the Seventh-day Adventist Church should apply for admission to Dakota Adventist Academy.
Dakota Adventist Academy is not equipped to handle young people who have major behavioral or scholastic difficulties.
A student who presents himself/herself for admission to the school, thereby declares that he/she has chosen to give proper respect and observance to the religious beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, including attendance at required programs, and to observe willingly all its regulations, provide a positive attitude, and uphold the Christian principles upon which the school is founded.
REGISTRATION
Students are expected to register by August 14. Regular classes begin August 15. Those who register more than two weeks late for either semester will be permitted to carry a full course load only at the discretion of the Academic Affairs Committee. Students who register late and receive full credit for the grading period are expected to pay full tuition. All students leaving school early will be expected to pay full tuition if they are given permission to complete their scholastic assignments.
