Alumni Weekend is just around the corner - it will be here before you know it. I know many have already made plans to attend; the rest of you need to do the same!
I want to especially invite all members of the classes 1941, 1946, 1951, 1956, 1961, 1971, 1981, 1986, 1991, 2001, and 2005. Congratulations on your honor year and we hope you can make it to the celebration!
Your alumni association and honor class representatives have been hard at work planning a special weekend. We hope you can join us October 1-3, 2010 to make the weekend complete!
A couple things to note as you plan your trip:
1. We now offer the option of paying for your meal tickets, dues, alumni newspaper, and project fund through Paypal. Because of the extra cost, each meal will be $.50 more. If you visit www.dakotaadventistacademy.org (don't worry, you are on the right page!) and click on alumni events, you will find the correct Paypal button for the Alumni Association. Please use the Paypal button on the right of the screen only for donations to the Annual Fund.
2. The Double Wood Inn in Bismarck has reserved a block of rooms for our Alumni Weekend. Regularly priced at $119.99, they are offered to all attending the weekend at $78.00! Just mention "Dakota Adventist Academy" when you call 1.800.554.7077.
3. If you rather stay closer to the action, DAA still has many dorm rooms available to all alumni. Call Ruthanne Altsman at 701-258-9000 or send in the Room Reservation slip to reserve your room.
4. Back by popular demand, the Saturday evening buffet supper will be free to all at 5:30 in the cafeteria. Made available by the Alumni Association, donations will be gladly accepted to help cover the costs.
