Grandparents' Day
Once a year, Dakota Adventist Academy students havea unique opportunity on Grandparents' Day to give their grandparents a behind-the-scenes look at their life at high school.
On Friday January 29, DAA hosted nine grandparents and seven grandchildren/students for a special afternoon. Grandparents’ Day started with a delicious lunch, giving our guests a chance to catch up on each others lives. A Grandparents Appreciation Program was next, featuring an update on the school year and special performances by DAK and Jordan Stolz. Both young and old enjoyed playing a quiz game on the school year so far, featuring questions on regionals, camp week, field trips and more! Prizes including t-shirts and mugs were handed out to the grandparents with the most points. Afterwards, the families relaxed around the school; visiting classrooms and gymnastics practice, talking with teachers, and getting their portraits taken by Bruce Kimball. Thank you to the grandparents who came out to DAA for an afternoon of fun and family! We hope to see you next year.
