Bible Bowl
The annual Pathfinder Bible Bowl was also held at DAA on January 30 featuring eleven teams of Pathfinders from around North and South Dakota.
This year’s Bible Bowl offered 120 different questions, covering the chapters of Daniel, Hosea and Joel. Rachel O'Hare, a former pathfinder, was the question reader for the event and sat alongside Ann Wham, the quiz master and organizer of the event. Many teen leadership training Pathfinders were there to help out as well, serving as time keepers, greeters, and judges. After all the questions are asked, the score is tallied for each team and turned into a percentage. Based on that percentage, teams can place in three categories: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. Congratulations to the nine teams who placed in 3rd! There were two teams, the Dakota Meadowlarks and the Lehr Blue Jays, who scored high enough to place 1st. The Meadowlarks and the Blue Jays now will have the opportunity to continue in the Bible Bowl competition by attending the competition in Lincoln, NE on February 20. They will be competing against other Pathfinder teams from around the Mid-American Union. Good luck, Meadowlarks and Blue Jays!
